10 tweets that will make book lovers go WTF?

  1. I sincerely hope some of those were sarcasm, especially the one about free thought.

  2. I’m always kind of speechless when someone says they don’t read, or don’t like to read. Suddenly we’re from different planets and I don’t speak their language. Does that make me a horrible person? Loved these tweets in a scary kind of way. Thanks for sharing them.

  3. Reblogged this on Stormborne and commented:
Thanks to geekybooksnob for the morning sigh of sadness. 🙂

  4. These are amazing. Though I’m used to this kind of thing thanks to my brother who claims never to have read anything for pleasure and always used to be constantly mocking the amount of reading I did.

  5. These made me laugh and are all in good fun. I love pretending to be insulted but really am not. I’m sure my sister would do a post called 10 tweets that make gamers go wtf and one of them would be mine. To each his own. But seriously…they are pretty funny.

  6. Since they are coming from young people it scares and saddens me because what is the future coming too? I am the only one in my family that loves to read, I get it from my dad. My mom only reads magazines. My siblings. nada. I could not imagine what a sad life I would have if I couldn’t read.

  7. I sincerely want to believe these are all sarcasm.

  8. I hate the fact that more than one person hash-tagged “ihatereading”.

  9. those are people I don’t want to be friends with in real life.

  10. I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

  11. Ha ha, they don’t like reading but they’re fine with writing stuff. Spot the conundrum …

  12. Wow! A look into the lives of those who don’t enjoy reading. Foreign territory.

  13. I do love the comments in between these poor people who just don’t know what they are missing! especially this one: I think this is hilarious too. I am going to find your address so I can mail you novels as well and be part of the hilarity.

  14. “The person, be it a gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid”. Jane Austen…I say the loss is all theirs…although I did laugh a lot 😛
